This necklace is designed and handcrafted using 14k gold-filled findings.  This is the next best option to 14k solid gold, as it is less expensive and hypoallergenic. Gold-filled is actual 14k gold heat-bonded with an inner core of brass and is a higher quality alternative to gold plating.
